A lesson in physics
Are we all ready for a physics lesson? Good, because you're about to get one.
Lesson Learned: A box that is half-full will glide down the stairs like a a slide. A box that is full will tip over and everything will go flying!
So Beth had quite the day today. She had to go down to Paper Tiger and pick up 3,000 copies of the summer registration form for our swimming lessons. She got home with two boxes. One was full and the other was about half-full. She was bringing them downstairs to sort them into piles for each of the elementary schools. Now, Paper Tiger is awesome and they collate everything, so the forms are in stacks of 25 with colored paper in between each stack. This will be important later, well, kind of.
Alright, so she decided to push the boxes down the stairs instead of carrying them down. The half-full box came down no problem. After she sent it down, I made a comment about that not being very smart. I thought she would pick up the second box and bring it down. I guess I was wrong. The next thing I hear is a big THUD and then see blue papers fly everywhere! Yes, Beth, a full box will tip over because the center of gravity is higher than in the half-full box. Oh goodness!
So remember those nice stacks of 25, yeah, they're no longer here. And we are now counting out about 2,000 forms and sorting them back into stacks of 25... It's really pretty hilarious, although not so much, all at the same time.
Today's Tidbit: I think I just found my wedding song :P

Which song? "We're going to win, Twins?"
this better not be a flint & steel joke!
well, we all know beth's judgement on the reaction of objects to being throw/pushed/driven over the edge of things has always been a bit skued.
Beth: "Oh sad, poor me."
